Sweat Therapy

By day I'm a corporate employee, by night I'm an artist, writer, blogger, foodie, plant hoarder and novice wine enthusiast who has developed an addiction to shiny shoes.  However, somehow along the line, I lost the title of being physically active.

Sitting at a desk all day can mess with a girl's mind, not to mention her dress size.  I forgot how therapeutic sweating can be.  There is something to be said about pushing your body through physical activity to make it stronger. It's liberating, head clearing and borderline euphoric.

How did I forget that? Oh well, the answer isn't important anymore. What is important is that I've decided to get back at it. So here goes, I'm going to get back to sweating. I'm going to get back to complaining about all my sore muscles while secretly loving it.  I'm going to get back to all the cute gym clothes I invested in a few months ago. Now that I've put it in writing I have no choice, I've got a written reason to be accountable.

I once read a quote about how it is a shame to spend 8+ hours a day working for someone else, but no time working on yourself. Besides, if I work out until everything hurts, I'll be too sore to roll my eyes at all the foolishness that I come across on a daily basis.

Sounds like a win win to me.
