Girl Meets Grub, A Restaurant Review

One beautiful Saturday a few weeks ago, my road girl and I were hanging out at Ponce City Market when she suggested we grab lunch at Botiwalla, a fantastic restaurant that serves Indian Street Food.  

We had the Lamb Boti Kabob Roll, Just look at the pictures! Please forgive the big unladylike bite in the first picture, believe me when I say that it could not be helped. The lamb was tender and perfectly seasoned, the naan was hot and buttery and that slaw.....OH MY GOODNESS!  Just thinking about it is making my mouth water.  The mere memories of how good the food was has me giving my current lunch some serious side-eye right now. 

Botiwalla is popular, and  it was lunch time, so there was a line, but it moved quickly and the staff was very friendly.  They moved us along, all while patiently answering any questions and joining in on any light-hearted conversations that were happening in line.  Trust me, no matter how 'hangry' you may be, Botiwalla is worth the wait. I will definitely be adding this sweet little spot to my restaurant rotation.
