Edge Naturale Follicle Enhancer Product Review

I was sitting at home trying not to spin out into yet another existential crisis when the lovely people at Edge Naturale reached out to me with the opportunity to try their follicle enhancer in exchange for an honest review. As a type 4 curly girl with a tenuous relationship with her edges, I was very intrigued. Thin edges run on both sides of my family and I am desperately trying to avoid that part of my genetic legacy. I also have a widow’s peak, which can amplify the look of thin edges, at least in my mind it can. Needless to say, I was more than willing to try this product.

With my edges being so fragile, I don’t bother to lay them. I’m just grateful that they choose to stick around every day, so I let them do what they will.

I used the follicle enhancer as directed for about 4 weeks, and I can tell the difference. No, my hairline isn’t drastically changed; I still have a widow’s peak, but my edges are fuller, and the newer hair actually lies down on its own. I couldn’t be more pleased.

The product has a light creamy texture without being greasy. This is a good thing as I tend to be heavy-handed when applying hair products; my dime-sized amount is more like change for a dollar. A little really does go a long way, and the smell is simply delicious, with peppermint oil being one of the ingredients. It is pleasant without being over-powering. There is nothing worse than a strong unpleasant smelling hair product! Trust me, I know.

As I said, a little goes a long way as I’ve been using the product for a month, and I still have a full container.

In conclusion, I would recommend Edge Naturale’s Follicle Enhancer. I’m going to continue using it and will more than likely purchase again once I run out.

Hold on to those edges ladies! Happy Monday.
